 Every 90 minutes someone is diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (
 ALS)\, a progressive neurodegenerative disease that causes muscle weakness
 \, paralysis\, and ultimately\, respiratory failure.\nALS\, also known as 
 Lou Gehrig’s disease\, Charcot's disease\, and motor neuron disease (MND
 )\, attacks certain cells in the brain and spinal cord needed to keep our 
 muscles moving.\nMost people with ALS live 2-5 years after their first sig
 ns of disease.\n**********************************************************

  Friday June 5th at HotShots VBall.\n\nTickets are $20 in advance (link wi
 ll be posted soon)\n$25 cash at the door\n-all money raised will be donate
 d directly to ALS TDI-\n\nA 90 min Zumba class lead by Zumba Jammer's Kend
 ra DeWinde and Ashley Stewart\, and ZIN members Courtney Lussier\, Jaiquis
 e Baker Oquendo\,Jessica Flanders and Danielle Lopez.\n\nThis event is in 
 loving memory of Tom Baldwin\, husband to Chrys Baldwin\, father of Katie 
 Baldwin\, Jessica Baldwin and Nick Baldwin. Tom passed in February 2013 af
 ter being diagnosed with ALS in December of 2011.
